New Enscape 3.5: This Is What’s Next in Architecture Visualization!

Enscape 3.5 comes with a series of adjustable assets that includes variants and color or material customization so you can curate the right aesthetic. But this is not all.

Let's take a closer look at the new features and improvements:

Adjustable Assets

Escape's latest Adjustable Asset series provides users with the flexibility to modify the material, color, or variant of select assets. Users can adjust furniture materials, alter the clothing colors of specific people assets, or choose precise colors for any of the 91 vehicles available in Enscape. Moreover, alternative options are available for trees and plants, such as autumnal trees and unpotted plants. To access these adjustable assets, users can filter the tag "Adjustable."

Improved Lighting and Reflections

Enscape 3.5 has upgraded its global illumination algorithm, boosting the lighting, reflections, and rendering quality for users equipped with GPUs supporting hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Users can anticipate improved quality of indirect lighting in interior scenes, and can expect greater uniformity in lighting and accurate shading in mirror reflections. This feature is accessible only for NVIDIA RTX or AMD RX 6000/7000 series graphics card users.

New 3D People Assets

The library continues to grow with a new batch of 40 people that allow clothing customization with Enscape 3.5 and will get more diverse over time (53 people - real people who have been scanned with in-house 3D scanner - were added  in January).
Plans are also in place to start scanning more animals and helpful objects using this same technology.

Alpha Channel Export Improvement

Export renderings with a transparent background, facilitating editing and post-processing in other tools. Users can also export semi-transparent materials, such as windows and glass surfaces, reducing the amount of time required for refining these materials during post-processing

Orthographic Views Update for Revit

Any orthographic view created or edited in Enscape will be reflected in Revit, and the crop region in Revit will match the Enscape viewport. This synchronization is bi-directional, meaning that users can adjust the crop region in Revit to modify the view in Enscape as well.

Certified SpaceMouse Support

It is now possible to customize mouse controls through shortcut buttons directly on the SpaceMouse. Using a SpaceMouse and navigate a 3D model in conjunction with Enscape, will improve your workflow significantly.

Layer Assignment of Assets in Rhino

From now on, when placing assets in Rhino or Enscape, they will be placed in the currently selected layer, and not in the default layer.

New User Area in Toolbar

You can now access your account directly from the Enscape toolbar and manage and check license status, manage web standalones, and panoramas.

Revit 2024 Support

Last but not least, Enscape 3.5 supports the latest version of Revit 2024.

Enscape integrates seamlessly into your current design program, letting you visualize instantly any changes in real time.
