Have You Tried MultiPipe in Rhino 7?

MultiPipe is a new command and Grasshopper component in Rhino 7

Using lines or curves a new subD surface is created around them. This surface can then be edited further to refine the design. Modeling organic transitions with MultiPipe can be far easier than traditional surfacing workflows.

Rhino 7 also includes a MultiPipe component in Grasshopper. Lines or curves can be references to create the subD surface. Additional size control at set points is also possible for variable transitions. Referenced curves in Grasshopper can further be edited in the Rhino viewport to  update the design.
