DraftSight: Try The RichLines Tool

DraftSight, the ultimate editor for DWG and DXF files, features a cool and exclusive tool called RichLines, which can be used to create multiple parallel lines that act as a single object. Although similar to a a polyline, the lines are created based on the active RichLine Style, giving DraftSigth a unique edge compared to other CAD software  MulitLines (MLINES).

You can find  the RichLines tool under the Line command in the ribbon:

RichLine Style is located under the Drafting Styles tab of the Options dialog. Here you can manage your list of styles, choose one to set current, add/delete, etc., and here you can define how your RichLine will look. Use the properties box to define the offset distance, color, and LineStyle. Other controls allow you to show the junctions (the lines between two vertices), set a fill color, and define end conditions:

One of the most remarkable benefits of RichLines is that, contrary to other CAD software MLINES, you will have the ability to modify the properties of the lines even after adding them to your drawings. DraftSight has a right-click editing dialog so that you can change how Tees, Crosses, Vertices, etc., are displayed. Just select your RichLine, right-click, and change. No redrawing necessary!
