Intact Solutions just announced the release of the latest update for Intact.Simulation for Rhino Grasshopper, version V2023.10.26_1.0.0. This update is a result of meticulous efforts towards optimal user experience, with a focus on feature enhancements and bug fixes based on your valuable feedback and our commitment to continuous development.
With this release, users can look forward to a number of new features designed to improve productivity and user-friendliness. Moreover, several bugs related to the unit system have been resolved, allowing for a more seamless and intuitive use of custom material blocks.
One of the leading enhancements in this update is the support for Orthotropic Materials. This addition introduces a comprehensive database of Composites and Wood materials, expanding the range of design possibilities for users.
Another exciting feature is the new Sliding Boundary Condition. This feature constrains motion normal to a surface while allowing for sliding along the surface. This function can be particularly useful when applying rotational sliding on cylindrical faces.
Additionally, the update includes Hydrostatic Loads. This feature allows users to model varying pressure with the depth of fluid, perfect for marine applications and other related fields.
The update also introduces important bug fixes and enhancements to the unit system within Intact.Simulation for Rhino Grasshopper. Now, when users attach a panel to custom material blocks, the correct unit will be displayed. Furthermore, right-clicking on blocks with units will now show the appropriate unit for the block, instead of the default unit system. These improvements aim to simplify user navigation and enhance overall usability.
Should you have any questions or need further information regarding this update, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
For those interested in exploring additional software and tools to complement the Intact.Simulation for Rhino Grasshopper, we recommend V-Ray for advanced rendering capabilities, Pixologic ZBrush for digital sculpting, and MAXON for professional 3D modeling, painting, animation, and rendering solutions. Please note that compatibility between these softwares and Intact.Simulation for Rhino Grasshopper should be verified to ensure optimal performance.
To stay up-to-date with the latest and most advanced design software technology, we invite you to reach out to our sales team here at NOVEDGE.
Best regards,
The Intact.Simulation Team
