Open BIM Analytical Model This application has been developed to generate analytical geometric models of buildings in order to carry out their energy and acoustic analysis. You can enter all the elements that make up the analytical model, such as spaces, surfaces, edges, joints etc. You can also indicate the existing relationships between these entities (which spaces they belong to, adjacencies between surfaces, edges that form a joint etc). If there is a BIM project hosted on the BIMserver.center platform that has an architectural model defined through the IFC standard, you can make use of the automatic generation process, while keeping control over the final result. The analytical model can be exported to the project in BIMserver.center and be interpreted by the following CYPE Open BIM tools, dedicated to the thermal and acoustic analysis of buildings:
Thermal analysis: CYPETHERM HE Plus, CYPETHERM EPlus, CYPETHERM RT 2012, CYPETHERM RT 2012 CNOA, CYPETHERM RTExistant, CYPETHERM COMETH, CYPETHERM REH, CYPETHERM RECS Plus, CYPETHERM C.E. |

Open BIM Suspended Ceilings Architectural modelling of suspended ceilings. This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. Open BIM Suspended ceilings is a program brought about to design the suspended ceilings of any type of building. Open BIM Suspended ceilings can automatically generate the layout of the suspended ceilings, which provides a valuable aid in their subsequent installation in the different rooms. Open BIM Suspended ceilings is immersed in the Open BIM workflow, so it is able to exchange information with other programs. Thanks to this, it can know, for example, the position of lights, sprinklers or the ventilation system, which helps to arrange them correctly in conjunction with the suspended ceiling. |
Open BIM Vertical Connections Architectural modelling of stairs, ramps and lifts. This application is integrated in the Open BIM flow using the IFC standard. Working with an existing BIM project on the BIMserver.center platform, with "Open BIM Vertical Connections" users can automatically generate stairs or ramps by individual spans, stairwells, ramp cores and lifts. |

Open BIM Residential Furniture Open BIM Residential Furniture contains a catalogue with numerous furniture combinations for residential building rooms: beds, tables, worktops, shelves, chairs sofas, extractor fans, refrigerators, cookers, microwaves and televisions. The program has a simple interface for users to be able to introduce the elements of the catalogue. Once users select the type of furniture that is to be introduced, a dialogue box appears showing all the combinations that are available for that element. Open BIM Residential Furniture allows users to configure shelves and worktops. This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. |
Open BIM Office Furniture Application for the introduction of furniture arrangement proposals in projects for administrative use. The program has a simple interface for users to be able to introduce the elements of the catalogue. Once users select the type of furniture that is to be introduced, a dialogue box appears showing all the combinations that are allowed for that element. Open BIM Office Furniture allows users to configure shelves and worktops. This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. |

Open BIM Water Equipment Architectural modelling of the plumbing and wastewater installations. With Open BIM Water Equipment, users can introduce the following appliances and fittings: urinals, showers, bathtubs, sinks and bidets. The elements that are positioned on the floor plan will also be displayed in the 3D view of the program. The results output of the program provides users with a detailed list of the elements of the appliances and fittings of the project. This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. |
CYPELEC CORE Design of low voltage electrical installations. It allows users to draw single-line diagrams of the installation and configure the features of the composing elements. The calculation checks performed in the application are based upon the specifications from the international IEC regulations. Different types of supplies are available: low voltage network, single generator set and electrical substation. CYPELEC performs precise calculations by using the symmetrical components method to obtain short-circuit currents according to IEC 60909, or calculation of unbalanced three-phase systems, and generates plans with detailed information about the lines and loads. This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. |
|
|
CYPELEC Networks Electrical power systems analysis for high/medium and low voltage installations. Charge flow and short circuit. The design checks carried out by the program are based on the specifications of the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NEC). It has a simple graphical interface that allows users to easily create and edit power diagrams and single line diagrams. It incorporates a large variety of electrical equipment to create diagrams such as, for example, power supplies, generators, two and three winding transformers, low and medium voltage cables, high voltage transmission lines, capacitor banks, electrical loads and motors, etc., as well as protection devices and other electrical switchgear. CYPELEC Networks analyses of the load flow and calculates the voltages and phase shifts in buses, the currents in lines and branches, and the active and reactive power flows of the electrical system. This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. |
CYPELEC Switchboard Design of distribution the enclosures that are present in electrical installations (cabinets, panels, switchboards). To begin working with CYPELEC Switchboard, users must be connected to a previously created BIM model. The program imports the geometry of the building from the BIM model, if it exists in the model, and that has been generated and included in the model by CAD/BIM programs such as IFC Builder, Allplan, Archicad or Revit using IFC files.
This application is integrated in the Open BIM workflow using the IFC standard. |
