Did you notice our blog's disappearance last week? I am glad we are now back online! Kudos to the team at Typepad who worked hard to fix all the problems caused by the rather nasty cyber attack they were the target of.

NEW RELEASES

MODO 801

It's not a secret that we love MODO. This new release promises to be quite exciting, as the team at The Foundry took the time to listen to users' comments and feedback and pretty much improved and tweaked almost every component of MODO's 3D workflow.

Here are some of our favorite new and/or improved features:

New 2D/3D Curve Painting

Enhanced Snapping

Nodal Shading

Surface Generator Improvements

There are also some great news for those of you who bought MODO 701 after March 24th 2014: you will be upgraded to MODO 801 at no additional cost, keep an eye on your community account.

If you have an annual student license, you will automatically be upgraded to MODO 801 for the duration of your license.

If you have MODO maintenance or you are a COLLECTIVE customer, you will receive a new license as per your product's license.

And if you don't qualify for any of the free upgrades, you can save $100 by upgrading before May 9th.
