October 2023 Update: New Features and Enhancements in Fusion 360 Manage

Autodesk's Fusion 360 Manage is a cloud-based product lifecycle management solution, continually updated with new features and enhancements. This post provides a breakdown of the various functionalities introduced in recent updates, enabling users to effectively leverage Fusion 360 Manage to optimize their design workflows.

Fusion 360 Manage Update Highlights

One of the key highlights of the recent updates is the ability to export data to Microsoft Excel (.xlsx). This feature can be utilized in various areas of the Fusion 360 Manage interface, including:

  • Workspace Views export to Excel
  • BOM Compare export to Excel
  • BOM Tab export to Excel
  • Where Used export to Excel
  • Change Log export to Excel

Another significant enhancement is the ability to revert a Working Version of a revision-controlled item back to the item’s latest revision. This functionality is available on unlocked items and reverts changes made to Item Details, Classification, Grid, Bill of Materials, and Attachments.

Project Management fields are now available in Workspace Views, Reports, and Charts for users of the Modern UI. This update provides greater flexibility for team members to access the data they need for quicker and more informed decision-making.

Moreover, Fusion 360 Manage's 'App Store' has been renamed to 'Template Library' to better reflect its function. The Template Library has been enhanced with three new business process templates, namely:

  • Ideas Management
  • Requirements Management
  • Supplier Collaboration

The Ideas Management template encourages innovation by capturing ideas and applying a formal process to review and implement them. The Requirements Management template ensures that your products meet market and customer expectations by managing all requirements in a connected environment. Lastly, the Supplier Collaboration template drives supply chain efficiency by facilitating real-time collaboration to reduce cost and delays.
