Today's tip focuses on Setting Up a Digital ID for Signatures in Bluebeam Software. Digital signatures enhance document security and validate the authenticity of the signer's identity. Follow these steps to set up your Digital ID:

Steps to Set Up Your Digital ID:

  1. Navigate to Document > Signatures > Digital IDs.
  2. Click on Add to create a new Digital ID.
  3. In the Create Digital ID window, fill out the required fields:
    • Name: Your full name.
    • Email: Your email address.
    • Organization: Your company or organization, if applicable.
    • Key Algorithm: Choose between RSA or DSA.
    • Key Length: 2048 bits is recommended for better security.
  4. Set a password for your Digital ID. This password will be needed every time you use your Digital ID for signing documents.
  5. Click on Create to generate your Digital ID.

Using Your Digital ID:

  1. Open the document you wish to sign.
  2. Go to Document > Signatures > Sign Document.
  3. Select your Digital ID from the list and enter your password.
  4. Click Sign and place your signature on the document.
