Bluebeam Tip: Maximize Efficiency in Bluebeam Revu with Custom Tool Sets Creation and Management

Enhance your productivity in Bluebeam Revu by creating and managing custom Tool Sets. Tool Sets allow you to save and organize your frequently used markup tools for easy access and consistent usage across projects.

Creating a Custom Tool Set:

  1. Open the Tool Chest panel in Revu.
  2. Click the Manage Tool Sets icon (gear icon).
  3. In the Manage Tool Sets dialog, click Add.
  4. Name your new Tool Set and choose whether to display it or make it available to all Profiles.
  5. Click OK to create the Tool Set.

Adding Tools to Your Tool Set:

  • Add tools by dragging and dropping markups from your document or existing Tool Sets into your new Tool Set.
  • Customize each tool's appearance and properties before adding them to ensure consistency.

Managing Tool Sets:

  • Reordering Tools: Click and drag tools within the Tool Set to rearrange them.
  • Grouping Tools: Right-click and select Add Separator to organize tools into groups.
  • Sharing Tool Sets: Export your Tool Set via the Manage Tool Sets dialog. Share the exported file with team members to maintain consistency.
