Complex Surfacing in Rhino 6.0

What it's About

This webinar will cover techniques for developing elegant transitions between organic surfaces with the new Rhino 6 for Windows and Mac. Using an actual guitar model as an example, we will start by addressing the frequently neglected importance of curve creation, vis-a-vis concepts of continuity (G2, G3, G4) in the initial 2D design, before continuing into the building out and surfacing of a complex and curvature continuous final, watertight, and machinable model. This webinar assumes intermediate familiarity with Rhino 3D.

Who is Presenting the Webinar

Maia Merav Holtzman has been a Robert McNeel & Associates authorized Rhino trainer for over eight years, recently developing onsite training curricula for companies ranging from Walt Disney Imagineering to Arup to SRC Inc (defensive weapons technology!). In Los Angeles Maia runs a series of monthly, intensive Rhinoceros 3D workshops.

Who Should Attend

Industrial designers, including those creating instruments, furniture, light fixtures, tech devices, jewelry, shoes, and installations, as well as architects, civil engineers and sculptors.
