Simulating Assemblies using Scan&Solve Pro

What it's About

The Scan&Solve Pro for Rhino  structural simulation plug-in for Rhino will tell you if your model is strong enough and how much it will deflect. As with previous versions, it eliminates the need for model pre-processing, meshing, or simplifications. Just select the material, specify restraints, and apply the loads. Scan&Solve Pro takes this ease of use one step further by allowing simulation of assemblies of solids in bonded contact. Furthermore, with Scan&Solve Pro, simulation can be carried out using advanced material models including wood and laid-up composites. This webinar will show the basic steps of using Scan&Solve Pro, explain how to select and apply restraints and loads, and demonstrate simulation with both simple and advanced material models.

Who is Presenting the Webinar

Michael Freytag is the Director of Development at Intact Solutions and is the chief architect of the Scan&Solve system. He is also an experienced designer and craftsman, who is passionate about bringing life to conceptual designs-physically and virtually. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
