Doug Kerns started his jewelry career over 30 years ago at Philip’s Diamond Shop in Bettendorf, IA. Philip’sDiamond Shop was a high-volume custom jewelry design retail store focusing much of the design work using early design software called Digital Goldsmith. Digital Goldsmith, which was developed for Philip’s Diamond Shop went on to be another highly recognized 3D Software in the jewelry space. Doug has helped both retail and manufacturing jewelers use CAD/CAM technology to change the way they do business and become more profitable. Doug says that he loves his job because it has allowed him to help more jewelers stay successful in these ever-changing times.
