The growing interest in Generative and Performative Design led to the development of many design tools based on user scripting. ParaCloud founder, , offers a new approach for complex modeling tasks that requires no scripting at all. In this webinar we will explore the use of pattern modeling as a simple method for Generative Parametric Design. We'll review the application of components population, smart subdivisions, parametric operators and design sequences for Generative Design and Fabrication.

Who is Presenting the Webinar

Eyal Nir is an Architect and IT specialist with over 12 years of experience. He received his BArch degree in 1999 from the Technion in Israel. He later worked with Foster and Partners specialist modeling group on various design icons, as well as forming his own architectural practice. Upon completing his PhD research at the Technion in 2005, he founded ParaCloud, a software boutique for Generative Modeling tools. ParaCloud GEM is used by leading practices and academic institutes all over the world.
