In this webinar Maia will demonstrate the creation of a traditional engagement suite, from model to export to render. In particular we will focus on building organic and geometric structures, applying pavé to those structures, stl creation, and development of a high quality final render. V-Ray Master Trainer Fernando Rentas Pedrogo will sit in on the session to answer rendering questions.
Maia Merav Holtzman runs a series of intensive Rhinoceros 3D workshops at Design Rhino, her Robert McNeel & Associates authorized training center in Los Angeles. A jewelry and industrial designer, Maia employs Rhino 3D modeling to supplement handcraft in her line of limited-edition jewelry, and works in the luxury goods, industrial, and architectural industries as a freelance modeler and renderer. Maia holds a degree in jewelry-making and design from FIT, a BA from Columbia University, and an extremely underutilized JD from Tulane Law School. Joining Maia in this presentation is Fernando Rentas Pedrogo, one of the premier users of Rhinoceros and its plugins. After first encountering VRay for 3ds Max in 2006, Fernando immediately began to produce jaw-dropping imagery which caught the attention of many and lead to a position at ASGVIS in 2008. Fernando joined Chaos Group in early 2011 as part of the acquisition of ASGVIS, where he tests and supports VRay for Rhino and VRay for SketchUp. He provides education and custom training for nearly all VRay products.
Jewelry designers, accessory designers, and industrial designers. Anyone interested in setting up a studio for product rendering with V-Ray. This webinar assumes intermediate familiarity with Rhino 3D.
