  • Ensure Watertight Models: One of the most critical aspects of preparing a model for 3D printing is to make sure it is watertight or "manifold." This means there should be no holes or gaps in the geometry. Use tools like Check and ShowEdges to identify and fix any naked or non-manifold edges.
  • Maintain Proper Wall Thickness: Ensure that all parts of your model have a minimum wall thickness suitable for your chosen printing process. Thin walls may not print properly and can be fragile. You can use the ThicknessAnalysis command to check if your model meets the necessary wall thickness requirements.
