Start by creating or refining a dedicated table style rather than formatting individual cells repeatedly. Enter TABLESTYLE at the Command line, then create a new style based on an existing one. A properly configured style helps maintain consistency across all tables and drawings.

  • Set the correct text styles: Define separate text settings for title, header, and data rows. Use an approved project font and make sure text heights remain legible at the intended plot scale.

Consider these practical quality checks before plotting:

  • Confirm that text is readable at the final sheet scale.
  • Check that no text is clipped by narrow columns or insufficient row heights.
  • Ensure lineweights are visible but not overpowering in the plotted PDF.
  • Verify that table colors will plot correctly with the assigned CTB or STB plot style.
  • Keep tables on an appropriate layer so their visibility and plotting behavior can be managed consistently.
