Creating Building Takeoffs in Vectorworks
Recorded on Mar 9, 2016
In this webinar we are going to cover the concept of creating a building takeoff report in Vectorworks Architect 2018
. In order to do that we are going to cover the basics of creating worksheets (which is the technique we need to use to create a report). We will also look at designing a building takeoff, because while Vectorworks has the ability to report all the information you require, it doesn`t know yet what information that might be. We will be looking at different techniques for reporting information Vectorworks. Not all objects can be reported in the same way, so we will be looking at the most appropriate ways of reporting information.
The webinar is free and lasts about one hour, including the Q&A session.

After gaining his U.K. registration as an architect and learning to use Microstation and Vectorworks, Jonathan returned to New Zealand in 1997 and set up his current company to provide CAD training and support services to design professionals. He produces training and computer system manuals, including four Vectorworks tutorial guides, provides onsite and classroom training, and gives technical support. In 2007, Jonathan started a subscription site that provides online training, regular online sessions, and thousands of tutorial videos to hundreds of subscribers.
Building professionals and landscapers that want to create a takeoff report should certainly attend this webinar. While we will be using a building to learn about creating a takeoff report, the techniques used can also be applied to landscape projects.
