3012VisualARQ 1: So-so with many limitations and a few bugs
Matthew Flynn June 10, 2015
The software did not install properly on either of two computers. Took un/re-installing Rhino to get it to work. The software IS limiting for design thinkers; it only has certain items, and those items can only be semi-changed. Things not even super custom (pocket doors, multi-track sliding doors, accordion doors, tapered walls in elevation), and you're going to build it separately in Rhino. Causes Rhino to crash semi-frequently on regenerating graphics. Slabs and roofs are extremely basic. Did not even bother using stairs. The most helpful thing is modifying wall types on the fly, but this also has user-interface glitches. It's basically beta-quality software with a long way to go. Not worth $480 if Rhino costs $950.
