Aplitop TcpGPS For Windows is an application for field work that allows the user to perform surveys and set out using a wide range of GNSS receivers, integrated into the data collector or connected via Bluetooth.The app has multiple options for surveying and stake out plots, terrains and linear works, using base maps as well as cartography and web map services.
Aplitop TcpGPS For Windows, on a Windows™ or Windows CE™ device, allows the user to survey and stake out topographic data with GNSS receivers.
DXF or Shape files can be loaded as cartography. Also, it can be used web map services (WMS) and images in ECW format. The program includes the EPSG geodetic parameter dataset, allowing the user to work with different coordinate reference systems organized by countries. Also local systems can be defined.
The application allows the survey of topographic points by simply touching a button. Pictures, voice notes and optional codes can be attached to each point. Continuous survey allows to record points automatically, giving a distance or time Interval. Points and raw data can be exported to different formats, even all the information can be synchronized with Google Drive™.
Points or lines to be staked out can be selected graphically or using some criteria. The application provides different help modes, as a map, a compass, a target or augmented reality. In all cases a voice system informs the user about proximity to target.
TcpGPS is very useful for roads, railways and civil work projects in general. It allows the user to work with horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections and surfaces. Points in a constant interval referring to the horizontal alignment or only specified points (road edges, shoulders, curbs, etcetera) can be staked out. Slopes control options are also provided.
TcpGPS allows the user to connect and set up easily a wide range of GNSS receivers, both integrated into devices and externals connected via Bluetooth. The status bar shows in real time the type of position, the horizontal and vertical precisions, the battery level, the number of satellites used in fix and the status of the data link. Also, numerical and graphical satellite information is available. The GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS satellite systems are supported.
