Butterfly NetRender 7 now includes the OSX Controller - plus the Large core feature, node Grouping, Priority and Split Frames. You can speed up rendering time for a single frame by distributing it across more than 1 rendernode (ie: slice the frame into parts and Butterfly NetRender7 will automatically reassemble after the parts are complete).
Butterfly NetRender 7 features an Automatic setup wizard for LightWave 3D, Modo and Messiah which really takes the pain out of setting up a render farm. Setup of other application types is also easy: simply select the location of the render executable and the setup template contains all the default settings required. These settings can also be modified if desired.
Butterfly NetRender 7is comprised of 2 applications:
ButterflyNetRender - Controller
Installed on one machine and used the Control the Rendering scenes. It will communicate with the BNR Clients
ButterflyNetRender - Client
Installed on all the machines that will be used for 'rendering' the animation frames. The BNR Client can have 1 or more 'rendernodes' that can be assigned to a CPU on the machine.
