About the Author

Joe Godfrey is an award-winning composer, sound designer, and producer with credits in TV, radio, film, and multimedia. He has conducted the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as they performed his music. Joe has also played guitar with Ella Fitzgerald, and he was the bassist for "Mitch and Mickey" in Christopher Guest's film, A Mighty Wind . Joe teaches a variety of audio and video classes at the Art Institute of California-San Diego and the Digital Arts Center at the University of California, San Diego. Joe Godfrey is a composer, musician, educator, writer and pilot living in southern California. He is academic director of the Audio Production and the Web Design & Interactive Media departments at the Art Institute of California - San Diego. He has also authored online training and DVDs for Pro Tools 10 through [B151|O'Reilly], and Logic 8 and Pro Tools LE 7 through lynda.com.
