IFC Import Artlantis 2021 enters the world of Open BIM! Known and recognized for its almost universal accounting, Artlantis 21 now imports the IFC format. This new performance, concerning the model’s geometry only, allows the Artlantis user to receive any model from an interlocutor using a modeler other than their own and, if necessary, to modify the design directly in their own working tool. |
LUTs Artlantis 2021 integrates LUTs, filters for modifying colorimetry and contrast in order to create a particular atmosphere or correct images in the preview and the final rendering.Artlantis 2021 offers a range of these filters by default. Should users wish to use any custom filter, they can import their preferred LUTs, which are available on various websites as free or licensed .CUBE files. |

Artlantis 2020
so good for archicad
We have had moderate success with Artlantis. We find it friendly to use with Sketchup except if you do not get the colors right and layers right in SketchUp, you are in big trouble. I had to try several times to get my steel tower from rendering itself as grass everytime I dropped the lawn shader onto the lawn. Also, we are now buying much more powerful computers to handle the renderings as we create very large files. I would strongly recommend however that Novedge create a tilt shift viewing angle for the camera inspector. We have to get very far back in the renderings to get our creations to look as if they are not leaning over. Also, strongly recommend that Novedge create a way to lock in a perspective view once you have adjusted the view to what you want. It seems to only create it's Own view automatically, which is not necessarily anything useful. Due to the slow speed of the review window, setting up the view you want over and over is a huge pain. In SketchUp, you just go Window, Create Scene and name it. Arlantis needs a simlar function. Overall, we like the software, but it needs some minor improvements. Also, we have not been successful at finding the entorage from the vendors that they advertise and promote. That needs to be updated because we would like to buy the entorage......
