CYPECAD 

CYPECAD carries out the analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures, subject to horizontal and vertical loads, for homes, buildings and civil work projects. Its use guarantees maximum analysis reliability and optimum drawing design.

• Reinforced concrete columns, reinforced concrete beams, steel columns and steel beams.

CYPE 3D

CYPE 3D has been developed to offer the user a software program with greater assistance in the design of steel, aluminium and timber structures (design of connections, ties, bracing, etc). 

It is an agile and efficient program brought about to carry out the design of three dimensional structures composed of steel and timber bars, and their foundations, which includes pad footings, pile caps and strap and tie beams. Additionally, these can be redesigned and so obtain their maximum optimization.

StruBIM Shear Walls (+StruBEAM Coupling Beams)

This program allows users to design and check shear walls in accordance with the ACI 318-11, ACI 318-14 and NTC-RSEE 2017 codes. This application is integrated into the Open BIM workflow.

Imports shear walls from the Open BIM project to which they are connected, as well as the analysis results. Using this data, users can design, edit and check the reinforcement of the different shear wall sections, and once the reinforcement design process has finished, they can generate and export the results. The program offers reinforcement description reports, check reports (summarized or extended) and a 3D view of results, displaying the resistant sections and interaction surfaces.

StruBIM Rebar

StruBIM Rebar is a program with which users can model the reinforcement of reinforced concrete structural elements in the BIM model.

StruBIM Rebar is integrated into the Open BIM workflow via the BIMserver.center platform.

StruBIM Rebar imports the geometry of the structural elements and the description of the reinforcement from a BIM project that is located on the BIMserver.center platform.

The program currently imports information from shear walls and rectangular footings with constant depth. The geometry of the shear walls is imported from the structural model that is generated by CYPECAD and the description of its reinforcement from the model that is generated by StruBIM Shear Walls. The geometry and description of reinforcement for rectangular footings is imported from the model that is generated in CYPECAD.

Using the imported data, StruBIM Rebar generates the spatial distribution of the reinforcement, which users can then edit.

Soil Retention Elements

Analysis, check and design of reinforced concrete elements comprising embedded retaining walls and cantilever retaining walls.

Includes:

Reinforced concrete cantilever walls. Program designed for the design and check of reinforced concrete cantilever soil retaining walls. Provides the automatic optimum design of the geometry, calculates the section reinforcement and carries out the geometric and reinforcement design of the foundation.

Embedded retaining walls. This has been developed for the design and check of generic embedded retaining walls composed of any material; reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete secant pile walls, mini pile screen and steel sheet piles. The program designs the reinforcement in the case of reinforced concrete walls. An assistant is available to help introduce the data for the most common cases of several basements levels in buildings. A simple assistant is also available for buildings with one or two basement levels.

Box Culverts

Box culverts is a program developed for the design and analysis of reinforced concrete box culverts used for underpasses, subways, and drainage works.

The program can also design culverts made up of various aligned prestressed elements by defining the joints or those to be executed on site.

• Can be rectangular, trapezoidal or any type of polygon designed on screen, as well as being single cell or multiple cell elements
• Trolley loads can be introduced (vast vehicle load library) at any position, graphically indicating their axis path and the distance between the sequential load acting positions
• Strip loads or surface loads on slabs, etc. may also be introduced.
• The analysis model used is composed of a thick triangular finite element mesh, which considers shear deformation.
• 3D views of the force and displacement contour diagrams and the deformed imaged for any loadcase
• Designs and checks all the elements of the culvert: top and bottom slabs, intermediate cell walls, lateral walls and wingwalls (wall and footing), providing all their reinforcement
• Reports and drawings of all the data introduced, the analysis results, detailing of reinforcement and materials measurements
• Adapted to the national and international construction codes

Open BIM Health and Safety

Open BIM Health and Safety is a program that has been created to assist users in the development of drawings of collective protection elements to be incorporated in the Health and Safety Project. It also exports the quantities of the elements that have been entered, in FIEBDC-3 format, so they can be used in quantity surveying software.
