Dominique Price is the Design Director at Gensler, in San Francisco.

Dom specializes in architectural programming and modes of production, blending technical expertise with humanistic sensibility. She developed her skills as a designer over many years working with innovative and internationally recognized firms. Much of her early work focused on public projects that provided vital social amenities to underserved communities. During this time she recognized a shift in the role that workplace can play in individual lives, providing social networks and programs traditionally seen in public projects. Her focus on cultivating unique cultures in workplace design has enabled successful collaborations with many established and emerging business in the Bay Area. 

Dom received her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan where she was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal, Albert Kahn Fellowship, and the Marion Sarah Parker Memorial Award, among others. In 2007 she won the Booth Traveling Fellowship to travel extensively across Brasil. Dom spent six years in the studio with her mentor, the architect/sculptor Will Bruder in Phoenix, Arizona, worked with Jeanne Gang at Studio Gang in Chicago, Illinois and went on to become Design Director for Gensler’s San Francisco office.

She is a registered architect and has taught, jurored, and lectured at various universities including UC Berkeley, California College of the Arts, UC Berkeley-Extension, San Jose State University, Arizona State University, and Torcuato di Tella University in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
