Bluebeam Tip: Enhancing Workflow Efficiency: Customizing the Navigation Bar in Bluebeam Revu

Customizing the Navigation Bar in Bluebeam Revu allows you to streamline your workflow by having immediate access to the tools you use most. Here's how to customize it:

  1. Access the Navigation Bar: Located on the left side of the Revu interface, it contains panels like Thumbnails, Bookmarks, Tool Chest, and more.
  2. Customize the Panels:
    • Right-click on any panel icon in the Navigation Bar.
    • Select or deselect panels to add or remove them from the Navigation Bar.
    • Rearrange the order by clicking and dragging the panel icons to your preferred position.
  3. Create Custom Panels:
    • While you cannot create entirely new panels, you can customize certain panels like the Tool Chest to include your own tool sets.
    • Add tool sets by importing them into the Tool Chest or creating new ones.
  4. Adjust Panel Size:
    • Click and drag the edge of the Navigation Bar to adjust the size of the panel display to your preference.
  5. Use Profiles for Customization:
    • Save your customized Navigation Bar settings by saving them to a profile.
    • Go to Revu > Profiles > Manage Profiles.
    • Save your current settings as a new profile.
    • Export your profile to share with colleagues or to use on another device.

By customizing your Navigation Bar, you ensure that the tools you need are always at your fingertips, improving efficiency and productivity.
