Artlantis Render 7 -- Network LicenseArtlantis Render 7 Network License is a stand-alone 3D rendering application developed especially for architects and designers, ideal for quickly and easily creating high resolution 3D renderings. A recognized leader in preview window technology, Artlantis Render 7 is the rendering software used by architects, designers and urban design professionals in more than 80 countries.
Artlantis Render 7 interfaces directly with ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp Pro, and Arc+. With the addition of the DWF, OBJ and FBX import formats and updated DXF, DWG and 3ds Max plug-ins, Artlantis Render 7 seamlessly interacts with all the leading CAD software as well.

Whether you're an expert or a first-time user: Artlantis is for everyone. Its ergonomic and graphical interface ensures that it's easy-to-learn and user-friendly.
  • Real-time radiosity preview - Artlantis's productivity is based on a founding concept: real-time preview. Regardless of the change in the scene settings (materials, lighting, environment), the preview is updated instantly. You control your work, you confirm your changes, and you run the calculation in high definition for your final image without wasting time.
  • Viewpoints - The freedom offered by Artlantis comes from the multitude of viewpoints that you can create, save, and organize. Each viewpoint allows you to create a real study of your scene: date, a light source change, a camera lens change, an added background — edit and save the combinations of parameters in your list of viewpoints that are important to you. In order to optimize the display of your project while keeping an eye on your list views, they appear on the left-hand side of the screen in a fixed position with a refocusing of the preview on the left, or on the fly so that the preview is not moved!
  • 2D View - Draw the curved path of a camera, set the height of an object, stitch different iVisit 3D panoramas together... Some tasks are difficult to perform in perspective. The Artlantis interface is not only ergonomic in 3D visualization, it also is in 2D and offers a "2D view" window to work in the best conditions.
  • Inspectors - Now grouped at the top of the screen, inspectors allow you to set all the parameters associated with shaders, objects, lights, heliodons and perspectives (perspectives, projected views, panoramas, VR objects and animations). The real backbone of Artlantis is this clear and intuitive tool bar, allowing you to access — with a minimum of clicks — a maximum of Artlantis features and settings. You can make adjustments, improvements, and fine-tune your scene and see the results instantly — without taking your eyes off the preview window.
  • Catalog - Using the new media catalog is fast and efficient. Its organization into categories and sub-categories allows you to choose in mere seconds the right media for your project (Artlantis is delivered with more than 400 media directly usable in your 3D scenes). For better use of your workspace, the catalog window can be moved independently on your second screen if you use one. In order to satisfy users who want to customize their catalog with their own media, Artlantis allows you to add custom folders.
Shaders, 3D objects, HDRi backgrounds — all available within Artlantis, downloaded from the Artlantis Media Store or created yourself — simply drag & drop the media from the catalog to set up your scene!
  • 3D Objects - 3D objects also benefit from the ease of use associated with 'drag & drop.' Artlantis gives you the freedom to place your objects wherever you want, with guidance as necessary. In other words, using a simple shortcut, objects will automatically snap to the closest geometry. In the interest of saving time, the attachment point reacts according to the characteristics of the object: a lamp, for example, will always be vertical; a bracket lamp will be perpendicular to the wall — you no longer need to worry about it! Objects can be saved in Artlantis and can even contain light sources that are reproduced when they are integrated into a scene.
  • 3D Plants - Developed in partnership with VB Visual and Bionatics, one of the industry's leading developers, Artlantis's 3D plants and vegetation can be used as simple objects, with a simple 'drag & drop' into the desired place. In addition, these 3D plants and vegetation have an excellent feature of pre-defined behavior, such as foliage tint and density, for example, to match the season defined by the Artlantis heliodons.
  • 3D People - Developed in partnership with AXYZ Design, 3D characters are static in Artlantis Render and animated in Artlantis Studio. Like any other 3D object in Artlantis, the 3D people are placed using a simple 'drag & drop.' The size, clothing color, and behavior can all be changed according to your needs.
  • Billboards - Drag & drop special images, known as Billboards, from the catalog into the 3D scene. Isolated and always facing the camera, a billboard allows you to enhance your scenes with true, 2D images. These billboards can be traffic "warning signs," "manhole covers," or even characters' clothing (the color of the clothing can be changed).
  • Shaders - Artlantis makes using shaders fast and easy. Instantly dress a material with all the attributes of a given shader (tint, color, opacity, specular reflection, shininess, blur effect, normal mapping, pattern scale and orientation) with a simple 'drag & drop' from the catalog to the desired surface in the scene.
  • Texture mapping - Now you can use your own images as materials. Import your own images with a simple 'drag & drop' from the catalog. Then, clone them horizontally and/or vertically to cover the surface you have selected.
  • Postcards - You spend precious time creating and fine-tuning your materials on each project... Postcards are the ideal solution to save and retrieve any material settings at any time, even on another project. When saving a Postcard, in addition to saving an image, you save all the material parameters as well. Postcards are a simple, yet effective tool to create your own collection of custom shaders and consider various options on projects.
Improved artificial lights
The artificial light sampling method, which is more precise, improves the energy diffusion of the light sources in the 3D scene and reinforces the reflection of the satin materials with a brighter gloss.
  • Irradiance cache - The new "physically correct" Artlantis engine allows you to quickly and easily perform various lighting studies and obtain a very high-quality, photo-realistic rendering. Integrating the technique of the "Irradiance cache" Artlantis values very precisely the energy exchanges between lights and materials of the scene in order to offer a realistic global illumination.
  • Heliodon - To reproduce natural lighting, forget the multiplication of artificial lights and their complex harmonization — using a heliodon saves you time and gives you a realistic result. This feature, simulating sunlight and the luminosity of the sky, automatically calculates the dispersion of radiation and their colorful rebounds, based on the date, hour, and latitude. Amazing, natural lighting immediately illuminates your scene. To add another touch of realism, Artlantis offers a "physical sky" with the sun, moon, stars, and a variety of clouds. With this new version, you can even see the rays of light in post-processing.
  • HDRI Background - The HDR image provides a spherical background as well as an overall illumination with shadows and full, 360° reflections. The lit, 3D environment generated around your scenes ensures a robust background for all camera views combined with the entire range of real light intensity. This also makes HDR images valuable for scenes that contain reflective surfaces. With the special lighting channel included in HDR images, the illumination and shadow casting will result in amazingly realistic renderings.
  • IES Lighting - Artlantis is also very realistic when it comes to the distribution and dispersion of artificial lighting. Including eight types of light projection (close to IES), Artlantis offers a wide variety of lighting scenes. In the 2D view or directly in your 3D preview, you simply set, modify, and duplicate your lights through new handling points. Artlantis lets you add rays of lights to all artificial light sources.
  • Neon Shader - Neon Shaders allow you to simulate a range of physical phenomena resulting from the emission of light from surfaces, like bounce, reflections, diffusion through a surface, etc.
Perspectives, projected views, insertions into the site: once your virtual scene is created, save your viewpoints with different effects and render them as images.
  • Perspectives - Storing multiple perspective configurations enables the user to completely analyze lighting, seasonal variations or environment configurations. Long-distance or close-up interior or exterior visualizations will be emphasized by choosing suitable lighting, masks, camera positions, focal points — or by adding images, hues, colorations, atmospheric effects, etc
  • Projected view - These plane projections and clips can be adjusted in the six directions of the bounding box and provide an extremely powerful tool for presenting a project. These projections are as easy to use as the standard perspectives, allowing scenes to be calculated realistically in successive layers or even overlapping cutaway views.
  • Post-processing - Apply different effects to the current view and set the brightness, contrast, and color of a rendering. Save time when adding grain effects, paint or pastel, highlighting contours...
  • Insertion into the site - When it comes to navigating the red tape of construction permits, there is no need to resort to image retouching software for montages that are so often complex and tedious, and too often unsatisfactory. Artlantis lets you integrate your 3D scene into a genuine photograph with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Artlantis Studio combines object and camera animation to enable you to script and export the virtual space that you have just created as videos!
  • Scenario - Objects, lighting, heliodons, shaders, atmospheric effects, post-processing, cutting planes, clouds, etc. — almost all the components of a scene can become subject to exploration and animation. The "Edit Path" mode allows you to create a path in the 2D view in order to move either a camera, an object or a light.
  • Timeline - The "Timeline" window in Artlantis Studio is a simple but valuable tool for editing and precisely controlling the animation process. Organized with events and movements, this timeline is composed of as many tracks as there are animated parameters. To ensure smooth movement and perfect synchronization of events, the tracks have magnetic hooks. You will be amazed at how easy it is to graphically synchronize and adjust motion, add lighting illusions, realistic lighting, or simulate seasons on your animation timeline.
Artlantis, a stand-alone rendering software, allows you to use models designed with almost all of the 3D applications on the market, without losing any information!
  • Import - A stand-alone rendering software, Artlantis can process models designed with almost all 3D modelers without any loss of information!
  • Main Exchange File Formats - Artlantis imports the most commonly used 3D formats: .DXF, .DWG, .DWF, .OBJ, .FBX or .3DS. It is worth noting that in the case of .3DS format files, Artlantis recovers certain data such as map textures and lights.
  • Use Reference File - Because a project is always subject to modification, the "Use reference file" function enables the user to make updates to a project in the modeler without losing any of the data already entered into Artlantis, regardless of the exchange format used.
  • Export Plug-ins to Artlantis - To avoid using a standard exchange file format between your modeler and Artlantis and risk losing information, Abvent has developed specific plugins for ARCHICAD, Rhinoceros 5, Vectorworks , Autodesk Revit, SketchUp and Arc + that are freely available on This direct link between your modeler and Artlantis offers a double advantage — send more detailed information while allowing you to synchronize the updated files.
