Rhino CAD 7 for Mac and Windows Educational Student License

Used rhino for the first time some 18 years ago. This software has come a long way. The upgrade was a little tricky as some of my older versions were the DVD kind. however I was SO IMPRESSED I called Rhino customer service - AND THEY ACTUALLY PICKED UP THE PHONE ON THE FIRST RING. It was scary. Not even your BFF picks up on the first ring! And it was US based support. I couldn't believe it. That was probably the best part. Then again the software is very good as well.

I love V-Ray 5 for Sketchup. It really couldn't be easier. Great results even if you don't know what you're doing. You can get absolutely stunning results if you just learn a bit about materials, lighting, photography and atmospheric conditions. A very nice feature is the random "Lighting Scenarios". It gives you as many different HDRI, or sun positions as you would like to see in sample thumbnails. Then, you just pick the one you like and it will do a quality rendering with that scenario.
